Abstract A physical model of the failure mechanisms of foil/ECA/cell interconnects, accelerated testing procedures for these interconnects, tested mini-modules with a range of interconnect materials combinations, and recommendations for reliable module fabrication. The vision of the project is that the recommended modules will then be fabricated after project completion and tested. We aim to thereby direct companies adopting this high-efficiency module technology in the selection of reliable materials and construction methods.
