Abstract Develop a low-cost, composite metallization scheme that is easily integrated into current commercial products and would maintain greater than 90% of the original performance of commercial Si cells in the presence of cell and metal line fractures. This resilience to cracking is enabled by loading metal pastes with carbon nanotubes for screen-printing. The CNTs bridge cracks in order to maintain conductivity, already demonstrating no loss of current after cell cracking.
