Abstract OpenUVF is a software utility developed to automatically process and analyze Ultraviolet Fluorescence (UVF) images of solar PV modules. OpenUVF includes the complete workflow necessary to inspect solar PV plants with UVF, including automatic segmentation of PV modules, detection of cracks and other anomolies, and the tracking of plant wide fault statistics. OpenUVF is available on GitHub (https://github.com/southern-company-r-d/OpenUVF), and sample images and models available here can be used for testing the software or training similar tools.
